In 1910, John Wysocki emigrated from Poland to find a better way of life in America. In 1919, he founded Progressive Machine Co., in Hackensack, NJ, one of the few shops in the area.

In 1946, John's son, Kazmier, joined the firm and began to direct the activities toward the manufacturing of special machinery, and a packaging machinery set up as a separate, name PMC INDUSTRIES. Kazmier's son and grandson, Peter and Peter Jr., currently represent the 3rd and 4th generations of this family company.

PMC INDUSTRIES has continued to progress and expand in the specialized field of packaging machinery, especially in the area of closure applications. In the course of this work, there was much pioneering development of designs to handle closures with dip tubes; such as aerosol valves, finger pumps, trigger pumps, etc… A complete line of closure applying machines was developed, embodying these unique designs on which the company holds many patents.

PMC has been a supplier of such machinery to most of the major manufacturers of consumer goods in the United States and abroad and PMC INDUSTRIES is regarded as one of the leading manufacturers of specialty capping machinery in the world.
